Method

  1. Combine the pork, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and garlic in a large bowl. Mix well and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the marinated pork and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the water to the pot and bring to a boil.
  5. Drain the glutinous rice and add it to the pot. Stir well to combine with the pork and water.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot with a lid. Cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  8. Cover the basket with a lid and steam for another 30-45 minutes, or until the rice is tender and sticky and the pork is fully cooked.

  10. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
