  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • Large bowl with warm water
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Small bowl for dipping sauce

Method

  1. Prep all vegetables and herbs.
  2. Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil in a small bowl to make the dipping sauce.
  3. Fill the large bowl with warm water.
  4. Place one sheet of rice paper in the water for approximately 15 seconds, or until the paper is soft and pliable.
  5. Place the rice paper on a cutting board.
  6. Place a few slices of each vegetable and some herbs on the bottom half of the rice paper.
  7. Sprinkle some chopped peanuts over the vegetables.
  8. Roll the bottom half of the rice paper over the filling, tucking it in tightly.
  9. Roll the sides of the rice paper inwards, and continue rolling until the rice paper is completely rolled up.
  10. Repeat steps 4-9 until all ingredients are used up.
  11. Serve with the dipping sauce.

Notes

It is important to not over-soak the rice paper, as it can become too soft and difficult to roll. If you are having trouble rolling the rice paper, try using less filling.
