Method
Follow the below steps to make Kala Chana Rice:- Heat oil in a pressure cooker or a pot and add cumin seeds.

- Cover the pressure cooker or pot with a lid and cook on low flame for 2-3 whistles or until the rice and chana are cooked.
- Turn off the flame and let the pressure release on its own.
- Open the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with raita or plain yogurt.
