Method
- Wash the rice in running water until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.

- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies. Sauté for a minute.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes and sauté until they turn mushy.

- Add green peas and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Drain the water from the soaked rice and add it to the pan. Mix well.
- Add 2 cups of water and salt to taste. Mix well and bring it to a boil.
- Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
- Once the rice is cooked, turn off the flame and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with your favorite curry or dal.
